See description and photos. Powers up, but working condition unknown so sold AS IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR ONLY WITH NO RETURNS. I just purchased a Commodore 64 and related accessories out of a local estate.  I have each component up for sale in separate auctions, so take a look at my other sales too and of course save on postage if you win more than one and allow me to ship in the same box.  Please note I am pretty clueless about these computers and have no real knowledge about how to use or them or even hook them up.  They do all power up (the lights come on - see photos), but I don't know if they will work properly so ALL ARE SOLD AS IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS OF ANY KIND, so please bid accordingly.  I also have some software floppy disks up for sale in one auction, and it is also sold as is with no returns (I took photos of some of the labels on some disks envelopes, but many are just numbered and I don't know what is on the disk).

GENERAL PROVISIONS:

All photos are of the actual item(s) I'm selling.

By bidding on this sale (or making a Buy It Now purchase) you agree to the following terms and conditions:

IF AN ITEM IS LISTED "FOR PARTS OR REPAIR" OR "AS IS", THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS ACCEPTED.

I always reserve the right to purchase at my own expense Signature Confirmation and require the package to be signed for on delivery to the buyer.

SHIPPING IN GENERAL: I will send you an invoice via the eBay check-out system. You are responsible for all shipping charges (see the "Shipping Calculator").

I almost always provide a choice of mre than one type of shipping, so look at the "Shipping Calculator" to see the different types and prices of shipping you can select.  Also, local pickup here in Topeka, Kansas is always available for free (just let me know and I'll send a revised invoice if that's the way you want to go).

COMBINED SHIPPING: I AM ALWAYS GLAD TO DO COMBINED SHIPPING IF YOU PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE ITEM, BUT I MAY HAVE TO SEND YOU A REVISED INVOICE TO LOWER THE TOTAL SHIPPING TO WHAT IT SHOULD BE.  PLEASE WAIT FOR THE REVISED INVOICE BEFORE PAYING.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I'm enrolled in the eBay International Shipping Program.  I send it to a hub here in the United States and then eBay handles the rest of the shipping.  That is the ONLY way I send international packages.  See the "Shipping Calculator" to see the shipping quote for this sale.

HANDLING CHARGES: The cost of mailing materials keeps going up, and I package things well (see my feedback). So, to cover some of these every-increasing costs, and as eBay allows in its rules, I must now include an additional 50-cents "handling charge" on most sales to defray my expenses.  If you make multiple purchases I only charge the 50-cent fee once for the entire shipment (and not once per item).

PAYMENT and SALES TAX: I am part of eBay's "Managed Payments" system.  EBay collects sales taxes, and I have no control over that.

RETURNS: Everything I sell is purchased at estate sales, auctions, and other sales, and I am NOT an expert on anything that I sell.  Also I'll say it again, IF AN ITEM IS LISTED FOR PARTS OR REPAIR OR AS IS, OR OTHERWISE LISTED AS BEING SOLD WITH NO RETURNS, THERE ARE NO RETURNS ALLOWED.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

MISC: I DON'T END AUCTIONS EARLY, and if I didn't list it as a "Buy It Now" item then I don't intend to offer it that way, so there is no reason to ask.

If eBay has some sort of problem during this sale, I reserve the right to cancel the sale and re-list the item.

If there are props or such in the photo, they are not included in the sale (rulers, display shelves, coins to show size, mannequin heads, etc.).

I leave feedback AFTER the buyer leaves feedback.

Last of all, this is a second job for me, and I have a job during the day, as well as a family, so I will get back to you as quickly as I can. So, it is a good idea to not wait until the last minute to contact me with questions.

THANK YOU!

On Apr-29-24 at 17:12:35 PDT, seller added the following information:

I found an old analog TV in my basement and hooked up the Commodore.  It shows the start screen.  I took two photos and posted them to this sale.  One shows what the screen looks like when first turned on and then in the second photo I typed in all of the characters on the keyboard.  My TV is not the greatest, and it is hard for me to get a good photo of a TV screen, so sorry for the marginal looking photos.
