elegant tea set in silver plating from BWKS

Description

This stylish set, consisting of a milk jug, sugar bowl and a tray, is made in Art Deco style and decorated with hammered decoration (purely handmade!). It comes from renowned silver manufacturer Bremen workshops for handcrafted silver work (BWKS) around approx. 1940-1950. 

The BWKS factory was created by the chaser Wilhelm Schulze founded around 1920. The Schulze has who completed his apprenticeship at Koch&Bergfeld and then worked for David Andersen in Denmark for several years. His first works are strongly influenced by Danish influences. Through Gold medal from the World Exhibition in Paris around 1937 signed, the company stands in line with other renowned German silver manufacturers such as Bruckmann, Koch&Bergfeld, etc. The factory's earlier productions in Scandinavian style are now rare rarities. 

The set is very qualitatively manufactured and looks very elegant and absolutely timeless!

The set consists of:

tray is approx. 21x14.5cm. in oval;

sugar box is approx. is approx. 4.5cm. high and approx. 7.3cm. in diameter;

milk jug is approx. 7.5cm. high, approx. 9cm. long, and approx. 6cm. in diameter.

The set is is in a well-kept used condition, with minor signs of wear. Without monogram (see photos).
