2004 Trevithick Invention Industry Two Pound CoinRARE !

RARE !!

The Royal Mint issued a 2004 two-pound coin to commemorate 200 years of innovation. The coin features a steam locomotive engine, the first true steam locomotive built by mining engineer Richard Trevithick in 1804. 
The design was created by Robert Lowe and features the following: A representation of the steam locomotive engine

- The words " TWO POUNDS " above and inside a cog wheel
- The words " R. TREVITHICK 1804 INVENTION INDUSTRY PROGRESS 2004 "
- An arrangement of crossiers , maces, and swords, surrounded by stars and the dates 1605 & 2005
- The denomination "TWO POUNDS" below
- A reverse by Robert Lowe, showing Trevithick's' locomotive Penydarren, sitting in a frame of a cogwheel
- The Queen's portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS
