Lovely antique signed, framed Charles Henry Sawyer hand-colored photograph of Echo Lake in NH, with surrounding mountains, early 20th century, titled "Echo Lake from Artist's Bluff." Sawyer was one of the main competitors to, and a contemporary of, Wallace Nutting.
It has great color retention and is crisp and clean. It measures 7.5 x 9.5inches framed. The frame appears to be be original, and is in great shape. The picture is mounted on a very narrow beige border, and the mat below is an even vanilla color and very clean. New dust jacket on the back.
The color in the main photo is a little subdued compared to the actual - there is a little more color than I can get to show up in a photo.
I have tried to find and describe any flaws, but please check the photos carefully.
