Large mid-century/1960's vintage handmade table cover.  Appears to be made from a wool or wool blend blanket, or possibly a purchased piece of wool or wool blend fabric.  It has handmade appliques of poinsettias and a pretty fringed edge trim that was machine sewn in a zig zag type stitch.

It is a heavy old item - would make a great Christmas tablecover again, or you could use it as a tree skirt, or even a bedcover during the holidays.

I purchased this from a local estate years ago.  I never used it, just stored it in a closet, so am offering it for sale.

It does have a few small holes - but they don't show much.  From the back you can see the blanket/fabric has a hole that was covered by one of the applied flowers - but that only shows from the back.  It is a lovely old item - I think possibly it was a "make-do" repurposed as a festive holiday item.

Measures approx 74 inches by 63 inches.  I included the edge trim in that measurement.  In reviewing the photos I noticed a round stain near one of the flowers.  It looks like it was probably made by a glass.  It isn't a very dark stain because I didn't notice it until inspecting the photos.

Buyer to pay shipping.  I will package carefully in a box and ship promptly.
