This Lighting Kit makes it super EZ for you to light up your projects with fiber optic fiber or you can pop off the black fiber optic guide tubes and just use it with the LEDs. The LEDs are soldered and heat shrink tubing covers all connections.

Two (2) LED illuminators, your choice of colors. Bright white is the default color if you don't pick any other. These are connected to a on/off switch and a 9v clip on battery connector. The LEDs illuminators are rated at 100,000 hours of use and produce no heat. If you would like colored LED illuminators just let me know which colors. I have bright white, warm white, flashing/blinking bright white, red, blue, green, yellow/amber, orange, UV purple (black light) and rainbow slow color changing.

The illuminators can be installed inside or outside of a model or project and anywhere on your RR layout or project. They are very easy to use and can hold from 1 to 150 fiber optic fibers depending on the fiber diameter.

To install the lighting on the inside of your model or project. Just drill a hole that's the same diameter as the switch and then use a razor knife to cut it to the same size as the switch body. Put the illuminators and the battery connector into the hole with the switch on the outside. The switch has a rim on the top and tabs on the sides that will hold it in place when you pop it in. The hole doesn't need to be perfect. The rim on the switch will cover any imperfections and give it a very clean professional look.

To attach the fiber optic fiber to the illuminators just wrap the ends of the fiber with tape so they fit firmly into the illuminators. They will stay in place very nicely.

These are the on/off switches used for this kit. You get 1 switch attached to the battery connector. These are awesome little switches and look great on any project.
