Kenko ZX Circular PL is the ultimate PL filter that achieves the best color balance and ultra-high resolution. The Floating Frame System, an innovative frame structure that does not put any stress on the glass, ensures ultimate flatness and achieves ultra-high resolution. In addition, the newly developed high-transmission polarizing film achieves the best color balance. Additionally, we have achieved an amazing single-sided reflectance of 0.3 or less for a PL filter.
This is a PL filter with the highest image quality that controls reflection and increases color contrast while maintaining the resolution of the lens.

Adopts a newly developed high-transmission polarizing film
ZX Circular PL uses a newly developed high-transmission polarizing film. As a result, compared to regular PL filters, which tend to have a yellowish tinge, we have achieved the best color balance with no color bias, and the amount of transmitted light that is approximately 1EV brighter.

Floating frame system that achieves ultra-high resolution
The filter frame uses the floating frame system common to the ZX series.
Conventional PL filters are fixed by pressing the glass surface with the filter frame, resulting in very slight distortion of the glass surface.
ZX Circular PL uses a special cushioning material to hold the glass, so the flatness of the glass is not compromised. This is a PL filter with the highest image quality that can demonstrate the PL effect while maintaining the original resolution of the lens.

Achieves single-sided reflectance of 0.3 or less
The low-reflection coating of conventional PL filters had a one-sided reflectance of 0.6 or less, which was the best in class, but the ZX Circular PL achieved a reflectance of 0.3 or less. We have succeeded in minimizing the impact on photos.

Water repellent oil repellent coating
A highly durable water- and oil-repellent coating is applied to the final layer of glass coating. It strongly repels water and oil, and even if dirt such as fingerprints gets on it, it can be easily wiped off. It allows stress-free shooting even when shooting near water or in rainy weather, and it simplifies daily maintenance.
