This auction is for a Series of 1902 Ten Dollars National Currency banknote from The New First National Bank of Meadville, Pennsylvania. Graded Very Fine 25 by PMG (holder is shopworn). This note is very heavily circulated and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has many heavier creases and many areas of wrinkled folding); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has smudges, many dark and dirty areas, grease stains, areas of discoloration); very heavy edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed (lower left corner folded over), edges rough in many areas and oddly cut); edge indents/nicks (hard to say if any tears exist due to the note being in the holder); very heavy surface wear and fraying (areas of paper loss exist); one small hole that I could see. Please see the photos to judge the condition of the note.
