How long can they keep this up?

After Eleanor (Kristen Bell), Tahani (Jameela Jamil), Jason (Manny Jacinto), and Chidi (William Jackson Harper) discover the truth about the Good Place, Michael (Ted Danson) asks for and receives persmission from his Shawn (Marc Evan Jackson) to start over his experiment. However, despite hundreds of reboots and memore wipes, the humans eventually realize the ruse.

The numerous reboots result in a strike among Michael's dissatisfied demon underlings, forcing Michael to team up with the humans and attend Chidi's ethics classes. Shawn's final decision on the experiment puts the humans, Michael, and his assistant Janet (D'Arcy Carden) on a quest to find the real Good Place and stay there for good.
