A representative progressive heavy metal band, Dream Theater!! The signature model of John Petrucci, the guitarist who is the key to their sound!
This is produced using the finest wood stocked by BFR (Ball Family Reserve), which is committed to the highest quality wood, and MUSICMAN.
Petrucci has been using MUSICMAN's signature series JP since around 2000, and there are many variations, but this model has a standard armrest contour compared to the standard model JP, and has a different body material and structure. It has a different Alder body, a Quilted Maple top, and a mahogany tone block structure for even more resonance.
The neck is made of ultra-thin Mahogany, the fingerboard is Rosewood, and the Stainless Steel frets are durable and have a good resonance.
The pickups are DiMarzio's LiquiFire on the front and CrunchLab on the rear, and are compatible with a wide range of sounds, from clean tones to distortion sounds, just like Dream Theater's musicality.
The bridge is a two-point support type and is equipped with a CustomJohnPetrucciMusicManPiezofloating tremolo with a built-in piezo pickup, which can output an electric-acoustic-like sound, and when combined with the Schaller M6-INDlocking peg, stable tuning can be obtained.
The controls include 1 volume for the magnetic pickup, 1 tone (push-pull to switch between 2 humbuckers in the center position and a single mix on the inside), piezo volume, 3-way magnetic pickup selector, 3-way piezo, and magnetic selector.
There is no problem with the condition of the neck. There are no noticeable dents on the frets.
There is a small crack in the neck pocket and some minor scratches, but overall it is in good condition.
There is peeling of the outer layer of the hard case.
