In my real world testing there is a reduction in noise on full power by a whopping 16DB and on low settings by a staggering 25DB. The silent burner boils 1L of water approximately 20-30s quicker too 

This silent cap is a direct fit for you No12 stove with stock Jet. Its unique design clips on using the original mounting tabs for the roarer plate no need to modify your burner and stays put during travel / storage. 

Simmer like just not possible with the roarer plate at just 3 DB over ambient noise levels and comfortably have a conversation at camp. No significant extra preheat time needed over roarer plate. 

Unlike some other similar caps this actually works with no plumes of yellow flames!!!!!  and no hidden import tax! Beware videos not showing simmering!


No need to over pressurise your stove, works great between 15-25psi.
