Wow!!!

Super scarce piece

Circa 1920s a.j. Reach company e.s. Bernard American League baseball box!

No baseball!

Super scarce box!

Inside box is signed “To Mrs. T.S. Shibe-Steve”      Mrs. Shibe was the wife of Thomas Shibe who was the president of the Philadelphia Athletics who played ball at Shibe Stadium.   The Athletics won the World Series in 1929 and 1930!

Is it very possible that the “missing” ball that went to this box could have very well been used in a winning World Series game?     Super cool and such an amazing piece of history!

Pinnacle of any high end vintage collection!   Could even be in a museum, especially given the provenance!!
