The world famous Budweiser eight horse hitch is a familiar site at horse shows, parades and state fairs and is a featured attraction of the annual Rose Bowl Parade. Pulling the 3 1/2 ton Budweiser wagon, the magnificent Clydesdales's perform intricate exhibition maneuvers with their driver in individual control of each horse. These gentle giants weigh an average of 2,300 pounds each, stand between 17 and 19 hands high and are usually 3 to 4 years old. The champion Clydesdales are popular attractions with visitors to the Budweiser facilities in St. Louis, Missouri, and Merrimack, New Hampshire.
