Decals: This hard to find set of three sheets contain decals for twelve aircraft, five BAe Sea Harrier FRS.1s serving with 899 Naval Air Squadron (NAS) finished in striking 50th Anniversary schemes with either 50 YEARS or 1942-1992 titles on the tail surface anniversary markings and either smaller 50 YEARS or 1942-1992 titles on the nose surface anniversary markings based at Royal Navy Air Station (RNAS) Yeovilton in 1992, three BAe Harrier T.4s serving with 899 NAS finished in striking 50th Anniversary schemes with either 50 YEARS or 1942-1992 titles on the tail surface anniversary markings and either smaller 50 YEARS or 1942-1992 titles on the nose surface anniversary markings based at RNAS Yeovilton in 1992, a Royal Air Force (RAF) English Electric Lightning T.5 serving with the Akrotiri Station Flight based at RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus in 1976 finished with striking very Pale Pink tail surfaces, two Panavia Tornado GR.1s serving with 617 Squadron (Sqn) based at Dhahran Air Based (AB) ,Saudi Arabia in 1992 that took Operation Jural, the enforcement of the ‘No Fly’ zone over southern Iraq, both finished in Desert Pink overall scheme and a RAF Tornado GR.1 serving with the Tornado Weapons Conversion Unit (TWCU)/45 Sqn flown by Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) Guy Riley and Officer Commanding (OC), Wing Commander (Wg Cdr) Mal Prissick based at RAF Honington in 1991 finished in a 75th Anniversary scheme.
Also includes a double sided A4 black and white placement guides showing side, upper and lower profiles.
Condition: mint
as with all older decal sheets, test a piece first and if in any doubt coat
with liquid decal film before use.
