Very rare piece of antique strongman history. Similar to a kettlebell with 2 handles. I was only able to get one handle to screw off. The other handle is either stuck or doesn't screw off. It reads Prof Schmidt's Monarch System Pat. June 27 06. Not sure how it was used, but it weighs about 14 pounds.  Measures about 16 inches outer handle to handle and ball is about 8 inch diameter.
