Vintage Seiko Quartz Type II (SQ) JDM 7123 7030 November 1979 Kanji

This is a Type II, the second generation of quartz watches Seiko marketed in the 1970s.  These were sold as ‘SQ’ models in the export markets and this is the Japanese Domestic Market version.  The day and date can be quickset using the crown (pulled out to first position and rotate).  The day wheel features both Kanji and English .  This watch has a silver toned dial and original Seiko bracelet.  The case is 34.5 mm without the crown.

Condition:  USED.  There are some signs of wear and use to the case, dial, caseback, and bracelet.

It has been inspected and observed in operation for twenty four hours and its functionality has been confirmed by at least two of our staff.  It will be further inspected prior to shipment.  If you are unfamiliar with how to operate the watch, please do ask questions.  Damage through misuse and/or misadventure is not covered by warranty.   Exposure to water and liquids is not recommended.

General Information:  This is a used watch that is 45 years old please care for it and use it accordingly.   If you have any difficulty with the operation of the watch on arrival we will certainly work with you to find a solution–we are very receptive to ensuring you as a customer are satisfied.  Please DO NOT make any attempts to modify the piece (including batteries–if applicable) before contacting us.

Shipping Information:  We use Thailand Post to send our items to EU, Australia and Canada.  We use a shipping forwarder to send to America.  Tracking numbers will be provided for each shipment.  Shipping costs will be 15.00 USD for the first item with an additional 3.00 USD for each additional item.  While we strive to ship as soon as possible, we do have a five business day handling time to ensure the watch is working as it should.  Shipping times vary but typically items arrive within 10-14 business days after posting.   If you reside in a country where the watch will be left in the cold for any period of time (outdoor post box) whilst waiting for you to collect it we would recommend against making a purchase from us.   eBay collects taxes where applicable. EU/UK buyers will be responsible for duty on purchases over 150 Euros.
