Outpost Defender was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1986.
It was also sold in 1987 and was discontinued domestically in 1988.
In good condition; Crate Lid has all tabs and has good sticker placement.

A slightly less high tech kit, the Outpost Defender is nonetheless another quick way the Joes can dig into a location. Once this kit is assembled, the Joes can fire on a foe with the built in 14.7 mm NX air-cooled machine gun, which can be fired to inflict Good Shooting damage in a single shot, Excellent Shooting damage in a short burst, and Remarkable Shooting damage when fired fully automatic.
In addition to this, the Outpost Defender comes with a crate of spare M-16s and the ammunition to run them, not to mention a heavy duty radio array, with a Typical communications range (250 miles) and Remarkable signal encryption, and of course the actual Outpost itself, which offers its occupants considerable cover from enemy fire.
