A narrow neck, small body, beautiful grain, and exceptional playability.
Rear route specification with pickup mounted directly on the body, allowing you to fully enjoy the beautiful heathered grain.
This is a special model with an unusual combination of IndianRosewood for the fingerboard and Wilkinson WVS130 with a locking mechanism for the tremolo bridge.
Equipped with SSH+ for the bridge humbucker, SSV for the front humbucker, and V60LP for the single coil pickup, it can be handled like a modern model even though it is in the standard model mold.
In addition to the classic FlameMaple top and Basswood back body combination advocated by JohnSuhr, it uses a RoastedMaple neck that is highly resistant to changes in temperature and humidity, and has a unique sound. The light sound of RoastedMaple is combined with the characteristic smoothness and midrange of Basswood, creating a perfect tonal balance.
The Bridge pickup uses the classic SSH+. Push Push switch allows pickup coil tap control to further expand sound variations.
Both neck middle pickups use V60. The V60, the flagship of the Suhr pickup series, faithfully reproduces the single coil sound with the best sound character of the 1960s. Using the same magnets as pickups made in this era, you get the bell-like highs, warm, punchy mids, and big, powerful bass that are hallmarks of great vintage pickups.
