Tobias Classic 5 4.490kg #1686 GIB Yokohama

Description

Tobias is the current MTD.
Founder Michael Tobias started his career in 1974 and is one of the most important figures in modern base builders.

The current MTD is known to be used by the world's top bassists such as Andrew Gaucher, Robert Babby Lewis, and Jerry Watts.

This is Classic 5 from the Tobias era.
Unlike MTD's works, one of its characteristics is the neck-through design.

Since the scale is 34 inches, it feels smoother than MTD.
However, it is more massive than KenSmith and feels unique.

There are surprisingly few basses like this that can do a lot of slap.

Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is a little loose, but we have confirmed that it works at least around 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition at this time of year when the humidity is low, so I feel like I have more room in the truss rod in the summer.
Personally, I don't think it's bad at all; in fact, it gives me a good impression.

There are several dents about 1 to 4 mm on the head and grip.

The body and paintwork are in good condition, with scratches throughout.
There are scattered dents of about 1 to 4 mm.
The paint film is cloudy near the elbow cut.

The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modification points were found.
