I’ve purchased this Bolide from eBay as a restoration project but I currently have a lot of other things going on and don’t have the time to dedicate to this.

As you can see I’ve made a start at removing the black paint but there is a lot more work to do.

I believe the bag is from 1995 based on the date stamp. I’ve chatted with the original seller and she told me it belonged to her mom who restored it once with an unofficial bag spa and then had a go at DIY with the black paint at a later date.

Besides the paint the obvious areas of damage are: interior which seems patched up with another leather, damaged zip (which I’m also not sure if it’s original or was replaced previously) and the padlock that has no key

This is truly a project for somebody who is not afraid of taking it on OR a perfect bag for Olsen Twins or Jane Birkin aesthetic ;)
