This guitar is absolutely gorgeous, and sounds as good as it looks.  AND...as one of the standard premium models, it only weighs 8lb 6.7oz...see the pic with it on a scale!

Quilted maple top, abalone inlays on the neck and knobs, includes the G-force automatic tuning system (removed for standard tuners, but included in the hardcase), titanium bridge saddles, the action is ridiculously low, Les Paul 100th birthday signature inlay hologram on the back of the headstock, the hardshell case protects the guitar from up to a 15' vertical drop.  According the 2015 manual for this guitar ("Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Quilt 2015", if you search their site), this finish is called "Ocean Water Perimeter Candy" color code 03.  Pictures do not do it justice...this is one of the most gorgeous guitars I've ever owned or personally even seen.  It has coil-tapping and a direct-to-output feature (pull up on the knobs).  If you pull the flyer for this guitar mentioned above, you'll see that in 2015 these sold new for $5000. You're getting it for less, but it's already on the used guitar appreciation curve.  It's not a cheap purchase (wasn't for me either)...but if you keep it for a while (at least a couple or three years), you'll be able to re-sell it for more than you bought it. So, it's actually not a bad investment.

The only flaw on this instrument are some deep scratches/chips on the back of the neck, near the middle...4 total. Check the pics.  My hands do not feel these scratches when I play the guitar. I have no idea how they got there, I'm the second owner. I'm selling only because I want the cash for something else.

Thank you for looking, and feel free to ask questions.
