GUILD F-30 Sunburst Made in 1985

Description

It's small, but it sounds great!
This is a sunburst version of Guild's popular small size acoustic guitar model F-30. The top is made of spruce and the back and sides are made of mahogany.
The model name of this F-30 became widely known due to the use of Paul Simon, but the model used by Paul was a special specification with (Brazilian) rosewood on the sides and back. The F-30R, which came out later with rosewood sides and back, had a different body width and shape than the guitar Paul himself used. This example was made in 1985. Like Paul's guitars, it is made in the Westerly factory, but features a 151 2" wide rounded body, 251 2" scale, arched back, and plain headstock with no chesterfield or G-shield decorations. .
If you look closely at the neck, the 6th string side is slightly warped, but it can be said to be within the appropriate range. The truss rod has been confirmed to operate up to 60 degrees left and right. Approximately 70% of the fret height remains. The current string height at the 12th fret is approximately 2.9mm on the 6th string side and 2.2mm on the 1st string side, but the saddle has been lowered to the limit. A genuine hard case is included, but there is some damage to the exterior. There is no problem in practical use.
It has a heavy feel as if it were made in the Westerly factory, and perhaps coupled with the slightly higher string height, the sound feels powerful despite its small size. It's easy to hold and is recommended for those who want to make a loud sound.
