OLYMPIC SPORTS GAME DAY AT THE COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL - A Huge and Varied Assortment of Rare and Hard to find Sports Critters and Sports Paraphernalia!

Calico Critter scenes are a great way to let the adult imagination take over, if even for just a little while. Imagine the conversations that can take place at meals if you place a Calico Critters vignette as a centerpiece on or near your table! Creative conversations will fly!

Today, it’s a busy, busy morning at the Calico Village Country Day School! Students and faculty have been working very hard to provide a day of fun and frolic for all ages. Perched up on the bleachers, the fans have an excellent view of all of the sports competitions: horse jumping over a horizontal bar; hurdling; a toddlers’ “They’re Off To The Races” competition on a train, a boat, and a rocking horse; and even Banana-Relay! A few Critters are showing off their skills at jump-roping and juggling. The tumbling event has just been completed and, amazingly, the Mouse Triplets have all placed in the finals! Bringing lots of encouragement to all the competitors are the Calico Cheerleaders, tirelessly swishing their pompoms. Meanwhile, Ms. Doreen Doggedy, the Principal, is manning the Sylvanian Sports Store that has been temporarily set up in the classroom; she’s proudly wearing a Team t-shirt.
It is expected that, very soon, Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter Rabbits will be arriving for the final track meet. Peter is considered the most likely frontrunner in this event due to his history of fast running to avoid danger in the form of Mr. McGregor. Finally, Peyton Panda is polishing the trophy cups in preparation for the Prize Presentations. Let the Games begin!

This set is not for the precise collector but rather for those who want to have “off the shelf” activities. For adults and children alike, each room is decorated with furniture and accessories and all Critters are clothed. Contains small parts and should be played with adult supervision only. All items in photos are included and pictures are part of the description. May not be a complete set but barely noticeable with all that is featured! May include new specialty items; all other items are in excellent pre-owned condition. Enjoy the play!
