This is a fabulous vintage gold tone creature pin brooch by D'Orlan (Marcel Boucher), featuring a fox head embellished with faceted black glass stones on his eyes and some clear Swarovski crystals.

It is marked D'Orlan on the back.

Canadian jewelry manufacturer D'Orlan was founded in Toronto in 1957 by a protege of Marcel Boucher, who was inspired by D'Orlan's designs and utilized his original molds. In 1979 the company acquired the molds from the late Marcel Boucher and in 1984 created a partnership with Nina Ricci in Paris, creating high-fashion jewelry lines for the French fashion house. The company ceased trading in 2006.

D'Orlan jewelry features gold plating and Swarovski crystals.
