Exquisite Victorian Quality RARE Silver Bacchus, Dionysus & Ram Cameo Brooch

Here is the most exquisite victorian rare front facing bacchus dionysus & ram cameo brooch. The brooch measures just under two inches by two inches & is all set in a solid silver mount, not marked where i can see but tested & guarranteed as such. Inset is the most stunning shell cameo of bacchus dionysus & the ram, in the most incredible exquisite detail, & very highly carved & a real piece of amazing high quality workmanship & i have never seen an example of this subject so highly carved & of such quality that looks so lifelike in a amazing 3d effect & obviously carved by a master craftsman & is rare being front facing. On the back is a pin & Cclasp working well  and dates very clearly to the victorian era & as with age, there is a couple of stress lines & also a couple of deeper stress crack lines to the edge, but this is not on the carving itself , so i certainly dont think this detracts,as the cameo takes over nearly all the shell but just mentioned for total accuracy, see pics. However this is the most exquisite highly carved cameo in very good origional complete condition as stated & a very rare highly collectable example of this subject.Please note this will be sent by courier for overseas
