What is Heritage?
225Parsons Street
Do you know the story behind Heritage Guitars and 225 Parsons Street?
In 1917, the Gibson Company built a factory at 225 Parsons Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The world's most famous vintage guitar, the Les Paul Standard, and the famous 1950s guitar called the ES-335 were manufactured at this factory.
In the 1970s, Gibson built a new factory in Nashville, Tennessee to expand production, and in 1984 moved all production to Nashville and closed the Kalamazoo factory.
Passionate about making high-quality, traditional guitars, some of the artisans decided to remain in Kalamazoo, purchasing the remaining factory at 225 Parsons Street and the original production equipment, and in 1985 established Heritage. I launched a guitar company (Heritage Guitars).
Heritage Guitars continues to make guitars here using traditional methods.

AmericanHandmade
Craftsmanship inherited from tradition
American handmade using the best wood
Original inherited by craftsmen from the golden age of the 1950s
Jim Durow and other craftsmen who supported the golden age of the 1950s have inherited the original American handmade guitar into the modern era.
Made with local Eastern Maple from Michigan
Maple wood produced in Michigan, located in the eastern United States, is highly durable and is characterized by clear tone and particularly good response in the bass range.
Commitment to high quality genuine mahogany
The standard H-150 also uses a single piece of genuine mahogany.
The commitment to a completely solid body is an expression of traditional craftsmanship.

Who is Edwin Wilson?
Head of Heritage Guitar Development Department
Edwin Wilson (Former Gibson Custom Shop Development Manager)
For approximately 26 years from 1991 to 2017, he was active as the development manager for Gibson Custom.
During his tenure, he continued research and production in all areas, from product planning, wood procurement and selection, color production to parts, and dramatically improved the perfection of vintage models in custom shop products.
Currently, he is in charge of development at Heritage, and is passionate about developing handmade guitars at the sacred Kalamazoo factory, including wood selection, new painting methods, and the development of the 225 Classic Humbucker pickup exclusively for custom shops.

Product Details
The model that arrived this time is the semi-acoustic standard, ES-335 style H-535
The combination of the original plywood top back and the vintage PAF classic SeymourDuncan'59 creates a natural and rich sound.

Heritage Guitars has greatly evolved with the addition of Mr. Edwin, who has a strong passion for wood.
As Genuine (genuine product) indicates, the Genuine Mahogany used for the neck is not a closely related species, but mahogany that is distributed from North America to Central and South America.
The top and back are made of maple with plywood finish.
The rich sound that comes from the structure is made richer, more relaxed, and clearer.

The painting uses nitrocellulose lacquer.
It can be said to be a living painting that changes from an elegant, wet-like luster to a more impressive look over time.
The unique head shape, which narrows toward the tip, is a well-conceived shape that reduces the angle at which the string bends at the nut and increases tuning stability.

The PU uses SeymourDuncan'59, a classic replacement humbucker.
In modern times, it is a pickup that captures and outputs every nuance of picking due to its low power.

As for the sound, as usual with Heritage, the first impression is the brilliant highs.
It has a good response that allows you to control the sound from bright to soft depending on how and how hard you pick.
The mids and lows also resonate richly, with a core that never becomes unclear.

This model has an ES-335 style that can be used in any situation.
Please consider this opportunity.
