Nice looking private currency from the East India Company 1808 Minted in England.
Conserved, attributed and certified "genuine" by NGC. In late January 1809, the sailing ship Admiral Gardner left London bound for India with a small fortune in newly minted "10 Cash" coins used by the East India Company as their private currency. She sunk in a storm just 80 miles from London. The Admiral Gardner was launched in 1797 for the British East India Company. She made five voyages in the India areas.
