Just ask wanna-be Brooklyn retro-rocker, Johnny Suede. Brad Pitt (A River Runs Through It, Thelma and Louise plays sweetly naïve Johnny, who plunks out wiggy tunes on a hollow-body electric guitar and entertains the wackiest ideas (“She’s got a color tv. Should I move in with her?”) in his sometimes hollow head. He meets Miss Right (Catherine Keener), but can’t get over Miss Wrong (Alison Moir). Join Johnny as he slips into suede shoes and steps out into his world. He may be in Who’s Who, but he’s on his way to discovering what’s what.
