Here is a gorgeous partially cut/polished large piece of beautiful, genuine Australian Opal.  There is a thick layer of gorgeous color on this piece.  Brilliant red, green, yellow, orange depending on which way you turn it. It has been partially polished.   The bottom is not colored, is rough-cut clear.  I feel that when this piece is finished it will make a large cabachon of about 12x10mm. This piece will be amazing when finished. The colors are very bright.

My husband was an award winning jewelry artist.  He passed away 7 years ago and I am finally able to begin selling some

of the large amount he wasn't able to finish.  This opal was purchased at the Tuscon Gem show in the late 1990's. It has been kept in water filled jars.  Very Stable.
