INSTRUMENT: This specification is mandatory for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.

SCOPE: This specification covers the material and fabrication requirements of a woven nylon strap intended for the attachment of instruments such as watches, compasses, and depth gauges to the wrist.

These watch bands are authentic military issue in the nylon band style that can be used for military issued or other military-style watches. Perfect for most wrist compasses too. Band width is 16 mm. I have used these on my Marathon and issue Hamilton military watches, and they fit perfectly.

Please note: the mark on the bands that you see in the photos is a shadow from my camera lighting. and not a stain on the watch band.

Also please note: I have two buckle color styles available; the brushed dull grey steel shown in my photos, and a subdued flat black. Both are authentic military issue-just made by different contract vendors to the Government. Otherwise, all of the bands are the same and all are OD green nylon.
