UTC LS-52/LS 54 High Fidelity 1950/60's 20-watt Push-Pull, Highest Quality, Audio output transformers- RARE
A rare 1950/60's pair Made in USA, UTC LS-52 and LS-54, 20-Watt Push-Pull Audio output transformers suited to 6L6's, KT66, 6BQ5, EL84, 5881, 7189A, and similar impedance output tubes. I've had these transformers for over 40 Years and were originally going to be used in an unfinished project. The LS-52 and LS-54 OUtput transformers are identical except the LS-52 has a wider range of output impedances including 500, 333, 250, 200, 125, 50, 30, and 20 Ohm both output transformers have tappings for 15 Ohm, 10 Ohm, 7.5 Ohm. 5 and 2.5 Ohm, both have a frequency range of 7 Hz to 50,000 cycles, Both have a primary impedance of 8,000 Ohms. In excellent working condition. Hermetically sealed and finished in Hammernite grey, these superbly made transformers are rated at 20 watts with a frequency response from 7-50,000Hz, input impedance 8000 Ohms, output impedance; 4, 8, and 16 Ohms. UTC United Transformer Company were major suppliers of Professional, military, and Commercial consumer-based audio transformers throughout the 1950's to 1970's. They were employed in many US-based audio amplifiers including, Heathkit, Ecio, Dynaco to name a few. The LS-52 and LS-54 both measure 4.5 x 3.5 by 4.25 inches high and weighs in 7.5lbs.
