Don't be put off by it being automatic as it is a lovely gearbox and produces the most relaxing drive (with the cruise and armrests).

Good low mileage 2014 van with additions new in 2021/2

Mercedes Vito Dualiner Sport, Crew Van, Camper or Day-van. No VAT, Automatic, 163HP and very low mileage at 75K

SWB/Longer body (sometimes referred to as medium, not Compact or XL)

Virtually standard throughout and visually subtly changed from the original. All alterations do not affect the day to day use of the van but increase the possibilities. Many more images are available on request.

It is a very well looked after example of this high spec, practical van with subtle add-ons to expand its use.
Medium length version with standard roof height and the rare but popular tail gate.
5 seat, Sport version (best option for comfort)

Double arm rests in the front, automatic transmission, cruise control, auto lights and wipers makes it the most relaxed and comfortable drive I have ever had. Armrest and reclining seats also in the rear so everyone is comfortable.

Sport version with recline, tilt and roll rear seats. These seats can be removed to either zero, two or three seats
Eibach Springs to improve the ride and reduce body roll on lightly loaded van, slightly lower.
Goodyear Vector 4 Season, all weather tires fitted to the rear, essential for Vito RWD winter driving.
Factory front and reversing sensors and added rear view camera.

 

Swivel fitted on front passenger seat and drop-in swinging/removable middle table. So that 4 can sit inside at the table or it can be swung outside for use next to the van. Attach the side tarp for sun or light rain protection. Great for days out or to compliment the camper below.

Converts in under 10 minutes to a clever camper which can comfortably sleep 2 inside in a very nearly full-sized double bed (just a corner missing). The VHop (camper device) is fully removable when not in use, to store elsewhere allowing the van to be used for its everyday purpose, in our case a very large family car! The VHop houses a slide out unit with gas double burner, two cool boxes, drainer/bowl, fresh water container, four bottle wine rack, wine glass rack as well as extensive worktop space, and plenty of storage space for everything you need to cater for up to 5. It is robust and completely self supporting, no legs or complications just slides in and out, as required.

The 3 part, triple foam and beautifully upholstered bed also slides into itself to reduce to a single bed sized or triple person sofa.

The rear tailgate awning can be installed in seconds and covers the fully deployed VHop so it can be accessed and used during inclement weather or just to increase the volume of the sleeping area.

2 Bikes can also be transported inside at the same time as the above is fitted, with it in “sofa” mode. Part of the VHop can also be used as a large external table. Pricing includes everything shown except bedding

Configuration options for this standard van (all including driver seat) are:
1) 5 seats plus 5 bikes inside, or 5 seats and huge luggage space
2) 4 seats plus 4 bikes inside, all with both wheels still fitted (snug but possible, may not fit all 4, if all frames are XL)

3) 2 front seats and no rear seats for maximum space.

 

And with the VHop
4) 5 seats and still sleeps 2 inside on the VHop, once the 3 back seats are rolled forward (This option can be combined with the use of a side awning (over the side door - not included but many types are available that suit the Vito)  for the remaining passengers to sleep in, this configuration suited 5 adults very well for short camping trips and still room for 2 bikes or other sports equipment inside. And of course works well without the awning if you need the 5 seats during the day and only sleeping 2 (this actually happened quite a bit, delivering kids to uni, visiting friends etc).

Additional items cleverly integrated into the van (but not affecting its primary use) are:

Media system DAB with steering wheel controls and reversing camera, large screen with SAT Nav etc. Original player available
A digital safe
Many additional LED lights with independent switches
Battery saver system
Additional USB and 12V charging outlets for rear seats and at the rear of the van
Extra cup holders for rear seats, or sleeping area
Carpets (removable) throughout the seated area
Reflective blackout blinds and black out curtains for a completely dark overnight stay.

All the above is new or up to 2 years old, quality/professional fit, carefully used and looks like new (apart from a few marks from light use).

Van has been kept on the Mercedes service schedule and been fault free during the 3+ years we have owned it. Private ownership, so no VAT

Not so perfect and honest points:

Hopefully we have noted below everything (images available) and it does not put you off as overall it really does look very good.
Drivers seat showing some signs of wear.

Some very small stone chips on the bonnet and small scuff on wing.

Some small scratches on one rear corner and small dent in wing under the mirror.

Some scuffs on the plastic interior, mainly in the boot area. This is unavoidable in normal use in these vans
Alloy wheels are 8 years old but in good condition for their age with just a few small scrapes and little bubbles.

All normal or better than normal condition for a non trade-use vehicle of this age, in general, looks great.

New rear tires last year, new front tires this month, new windscreen next week and new rear wiper last week. Next service not due for another 9K miles.

 

 

VHop is available separately to your specifications, built to order and ready to use, for £2990. In 2 configurations it suits most vans although the 5 seat and double bed (at the same time) option does not work on some compact versions as it is not physically possible to have a double bed and the rear seats still fitted at the same time. Please ask for details.

Van also can be available without VHop but obviously all the other mods will stay.
