Offered for your consideration is a vintage STARDUST Hotel & Country Club ceramic ashtray c. 1960. As you may know, the STARDUST was founded in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1958 as a hotel and country club resort with a casino business that kept growing and growing! After years of success and expansion, the STARDUST finally closed in typically grand, explosive Vegas fashion in 2007.

I believe this style of ashtray is one of their earliest, maybe the earliest, since it lacks the word “Casino” that all later versions have.

So, please have a look at the large photos I’ve taken and read the remaining description to decide if this splendid, uncommon STARDUST collectible is good for your needs.

This STARDUST ashtray is in clean, excellent condition. It is constructed from thick, black-enameled ceramic and measures 3⅜” diameter (at top) x 1¼” tall. There are no cracks or chips of any kind. At first I thought here might be a small chip on one of the cigarette cradles, but upon loupe inspection it appears to be a errant drip of the white enamel used for the lettering.

Plus, those enameled graphics look great with no discernable flaws. What’s more, there was absolutely no residual singe marks in the bowl or cradles prior to washing which suggests this one may have escaped smoking altogether before being appropriated by some long-ago guest. Overall, it presents exceptionally well.

As pictured and described, this very early STARDUST Hotel & Country Club ashtray is offered at a competitive price.
