Synopsis for the 1st Story

On the Moon, Stormwatch battles Mr. Majestic who has gone violently insane. Weatherman calls Emp and warns that Stormwatch can only prevent Majestic from reaching Earth for another hour. The WildC.A.T.s debate what to do until Grifter arrives with a captive Daemonite. It reveals that all Kherubim and Kherubim-human hybrids have been infected with a genetically engineered, madness-inducing bacteria. To find information on a possible cure, it directs them to Daemonite bases in Norway and Tunisia. Just as the team splits up to assault both places, Emp succumbs to the infection. Void teleports both groups in, and they each engage the Daemonites. In the midst of battle, Voodoo ponders the situation and her hybrid lineage. In New York, Voodoo’s ancestor, the first Daemonite-Kherubim hybrid, senses her thoughts and slaughters a group of mobsters holding him captive.  In Norway, first Zealot then Maul succumb and turn on Spartan while, in Tunisia, Savant and Warblade go mad and lash out at Grifter and Voodoo. Fortunately, both groups are still able to retrieve data on the bacteria, and Void teleports them back to Halo. Later, Halo doctors inform Grifter, Spartan, and Voodoo that the data is useless. Just then, an employee rushes in and reveals that a sample of Daemonite-Kherubim hybrid blood, exactly what is needed for a cure, was just dropped off in the Halo foyer. Outside, the Ancestor walks away smiling.
