    Rosso Verona is the red marble par excellence, which takes its name from the geographical region from which it is quarried. It has a background shade tending towards brick red/brown with alternating colors from pink to red and many shades due to the various concentrations of hematite or iron oxide. The overall color is variegated, it may have yellowish and brown intrusions. The red color fades especially in the more superficial areas, tending towards pink, beige, ivory; even in these cases the stone retains its nodular character.

    From a historical and architectural point of view, the Columns constitute and symbolize height, strength, load-bearing and structurality, referring to the same meanings also on a symbolic and spiritual level.
