This is a very RARE printed tablecloth with a Till Goodan Western design on it.

The tablecloth is rectangular, but almost square.  Would work well on a card table.

I have looked online to see if I could find this tablecloth anywhere and I could not.  So, if you miss out on this sale, you may not see this tablecloth pop up again in the future.

This tablecloth is most likely from the late 1940s to early 1950s when Wallace China made a few dinnerware lines from Goodan's designs. This dinnerware patterns were called "Rodeo", "Boots and Saddle", "Longhorn", "Little Buckaroo" and "Pioneer Trails".  Those designs can be found on multiple platforms including ebay.

NOTE: True West Home is has re-released Till Goodan's designs on dinnerware.  Their website has some information about who Till Goodan is.

Material:

As far as I can tell, it is 100% Cotton, but there is no tag on this tablecloth.  The fabric thickness is in between a high quality thick tea towel and canvas.  A quality cotton fabric!

Colors:

Chocolate brown, primary red, off-white

Measurements of the Whole Tablecloth:

Height (top to bottom): 51"

Width (left to right): 47"

Measurements of the Image in the Center of the Tablecloth:

Height of image (top to bottom): 41"

Width of image (left to right): 38.5"

Condition:  The tablecloth fabric is in excellent condition.  No holes, or rips.  It has recently been washed and hung to dry.  There is one 1" x 2" faded yellow stain along the white border that I could not get out fully.  See the last photo. I was able to lighten the stain with some stain treatments.   Comes from a pet free and smoke free home.

NOTE on Shipping: The shipping price is higher because the package will be insured and a signature will be required in order to receive the package.  Insurance and the signature cost extra money for shipping.

Info about Till Goodan:

Till Goodan was born Tillman Parker Goodan in 1896.  His father was the mayor of Eaton, Colorado. When he was young, his family moved him to California.  He grew up on a farm and worked for some ranches.  He competed in rodeos as well. In his spare time, he spent time drawing.  In 1917 he left the rodeo circuit and turned his full attention to a career in art.  He did oil painting, water colors and lithographs. He drew the Gene Autry Comic Books.  Till Goodan designs appeared in virtually every medium. Most famous were the four lines of dinnerware produced by Wallace China that I mentioned above.  Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, and Bing Crosby owned sets of "Rodeoware". Today, all the Till Goodan dinnerware patterns are prized collectibles.  Till Goodan's designs are making a comeback and are currently very sought after.
