Description A vintage 9 carat gold brooch. The design is two thistles with amethyst flowers on yellow gold. Hallmarked for Birmingham, 1979 (e), makers mark possibly MW&S or NW&S. Condition A vintage used item in good condition. Some tarnishing may be present. The clasp is in good condition and functions well, the left hand amethyst has a pinpoint frit on the peak invisible to the naked eye, only visible under magnification. A tiny bit of residue on the back of this amethyst where it was set. Please see photos. Approximate Measurements
