The salt bowl comes from the Factory Edouard Ernie from Paris, France around ca. 1882-1890. It is made of high-quality sterling silver and is equipped with a glass insert. It could also be used for spices, or as a serving bowl for wasabi, sauces, nuts, etc. be used. The salt bowl is in a well-kept, used condition, with usual signs of wear and remaining gilding on the interior (see photos). Without monogram!
