2006 Fender Japan TL68-BECK Signature Telecaster in Ash Blonde w/SC, CIJ

Presenting a near mint and entirely unmodified Fender "Crafted in Japan" TL68-Beck Telecaster, finished in a matte Blonde over a sen ash body, complemented by a rich rosewood fretboard.

Crafted exclusively for the Japanese market, the TL68-Beck model mirrors the guitar played by Yukio "Koyuki" Tanaka, the main character in the Japanese manga series "Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad." With '68 Telecaster features, a sen ash body, a C-shape profile neck with a 7.25” vintage radius fretboard, this model boasts Fender US-made TL Pickups and Schaller F-Key Tuners.

Japanese-made Fenders are noteworthy, and this Tele is no exception; the fit and finish meet the high standards expected from Japanese craftsmanship and rival, if not surpass, its USA-built counterparts.

Regarding its condition, our Telecaster is in excellent shape, displaying minimal signs of play and cosmetic wear, which are indicative of careful maintenance. While there are a few light superficial pick marks on the pickguard, the guitar remains remarkably well-preserved and is in near-mint condition. The neck and fretboard show meticulous care, with the frets exhibiting minimal wear, ensuring a smooth and polished feel as you navigate the fretboard. The guitar's all-stock electronics operate seamlessly, and the original US-made pickups deliver the characteristic charm and chime that enthusiasts adore! This particular piece weighs in at 8.38lbs.

Included is a Fender gig bag.

It’s been expertly cleaned and setup by Ben of Beej Guitar Repairs with a fresh set of 10-46 strings.
