1997 Fender Japan JG66 Jaguar Lake Placid Blue w/Matching Headstock, CIJ, Limited, Offset

Available for acquisition is a scarcely found, non-catalog Fender Crafted in Japan JG66 Jaguar, boasting a vibrant custom finish in Lake Placid Blue, complemented by a Matching Headstock. Paired with a vintage spec 7.25” radius rosewood fretboard, our Jaguar remains entirely stock, fully functional, and devoid of any breaks or repairs.

For those unfamiliar, Japanese-made Fenders are truly stunning guitars, and this Jag is no exception. The fit and finish exemplify the quality one would expect from a Japanese instrument, rivalling, if not surpassing, its USA-built counterparts.

Regarding its condition, our Jaguar exhibits typical signs of use, indicative of a well-maintained instrument. A few minor paint chips and light surface scratches are visible, meticulously captured in accompanying photos, but they do not detract from the instrument's beautiful exterior. The neck and fretboard are in excellent shape, with all frets professionally dressed by Ben of Beej Guitar Repairs, ensuring optimal playability and durability. Although the chrome and nickel hardware show some tarnishing, it enhances the instrument's vintage aesthetic. Furthermore, all original electronics operate seamlessly. Lastly, the stock Japanese pickups produce a charming, chime-like tone characteristic of Fender instruments. Its weight measures 8.37lbs.

A modern Fender gig bag is included.

It’s been expertly cleaned and setup by Ben of Beej Guitar Repairs with a fresh set of 10-46 strings
