to connect your action camera to your own existing photography equipment, to use
the GoPro on a pole for selfie shots, or just point and shoot as if you are holding a pistol.

This super compact adaptor fits all standard 1/4" (20 threads per inch) tripod and monopod screw fittings.
Simply connects to the GoPro or similar action camera mounting points on the camera housings or extension
bars and hinges!

I use this kind of GoPro adaptor out in the field on extendable monopod poles as shown below,
sometimes with an added quarter turn hinge for 'point 'n shoot' filming, & filming from up high
or around us when self-filming from any angle.
