The CustomColorSeries Les Paul Standard 50s and 60s are available in figured top and plain top versions, respectively.Gibson's Les Paul Standard 50s and 60s, which have shaped the sound of the era and have been played and loved across generations and musical genres, We are returning to classic design. A model that pays homage to Gibson's golden age of innovation and aims to bring back authentic sound.
Les Paul Standard
In 1952, it was announced as the Les Paul model, with the shape of the Les Paul that many people who play electric guitars recognize today, such as the single cutaway arch top, and the gold top color.
In 1954, the Custom, Special, and Junior models were introduced as derivatives of the Les Paul model.
In 1958, it became the Les Paul Standard to distinguish it from its derivative models, and it has remained a symbol of electric guitars to this day.

The general specifications have not changed since 1958, which shows that the quality of the instrument was high even back then.
Although the impression of the grain changes depending on the age, the top material is maple, the body back and neck are mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The model number of the pickup also depends on the year, but it is equipped with two P.A.F humbucker types developed by Gibson for noise cancellation and released in 1957.

These main specifications are the traditional specifications of the Gibson LesPaul Standard, which have basically been inherited without change from the time the Les Paul Standard was announced until today.
LesPaulStandard'50s
The model that has arrived this time is CustomColorSeriesLesPaulStandard 50s.
The material is a combination of mahogany back, AA maple top body, mahogany neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard. The mahogany body is used without weight relief.

The neck uses the rounded and slightly thick neck characteristic of 50s vintage and 50s Les Pauls. Although it has a thicker shape than the slim taper neck of the 60s Les Paul, it is not difficult to play and has very high playability. It is characterized by a thick sound that emphasizes the deep bass that comes from the thickness of the neck.

The pickups are Burstbucker 1 in the neck position and Burstbucker 2 in the bridge position. Burstbucker uses Alnico 2 and is a model that faithfully reproduces the legendary Gibson PAF by type. There are 1, 2, and 3 lineups, and the higher the number, the more power. The clean tone produces a rich tone with a sense of air, while the drive sound produces a clear tone with an emphasis on the treble range, which is a characteristic of PAF.
This model has a low output among humbuckers, but because of its bright and sparkling sound, the distortion is very good, making it perfect for hard rock and metal.
It is also equipped with Orange Drop, and there are no omissions in the electrical system.

Equipped with a vintage deluxe tuner with keystone buttons and a gold top hat knob, this is a specification that vintage fans will love.

This brightly colored 60s cherry finish on the LesPaulStandard 50s from CustomColorSeries has a unique and stage-worthy look.
