Features fixed or variable analog unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR outputs
Plus two 1/4 inch "0 ohm", High Current headphone jacks. One headphone jack disables the preamp outputs while the other does not.
The many Inputs include USB 2.0, optical toslink, 3 coaxial digital, and one pair of analog stereo RCA connectors.
The front volume
control is a fully analog high quality Alps brand. The headphones
outputs are always variable while the rear balanced XLR and unbalance
RCA outputs are selectable as fixed or variable.
The versatility of
the Benchmark is truly awesome. I have used it in both on my desk connected to 2 computers to powered monitors for both headphone listening and controlling the monitors and in a studio environment to control the studio monitors. All with excellent results. This is a
Stereophile Class A recommend component as are each of its offspring.
It offers a highly detailed and layered sound that competes well above its price point.
This unit is in
excellent condition overall with no scratches or dings anywhere on it. In mint condition.
Everything functions as it should and it sounds excellent. Comes with power cord, USB cord and original quite extensive manual.
Note that these units run warm because of the Class A amplification.
