1. Vintage Military style Ancre 15 Jewel watch.

Beautiful sub-dial feature.

The watch is in very good condition cosmetically. Patina on dial

All stainless steel case.

I believe French. Serial number 199.

Large dial with gunmetal hands. Measures 34mm excluding crown. Unusual lug design.

Do not know an awful lot more about it.

2. Smaller watch. Also with sub dial. Screw on back plate. Also 15 Jewel. Interesting maker. E.B.E which I believe is Edward Browning Eustance.

Inside back plate had following details

Pat. appd. for serial number 422644. This case has been used by Longines.

Unsure of the maker of this movement but it looks a quality piece. It is in excellent condition cosmetically and running. Adjustable lug hands. One may have been replaced.

Mead 28mm excluding crown.

Two nice vintage pieces. Might need a bit more homework as to their makers.
