Kays "Screwback" Lever Pocket Watch circa 1920's

In Full Working Order.


Case : Nickel Chromium Screwback case in good condition with some surface scratching commensurate with age, and some previous inspection marks. Both covers screw on/off as they should, and screw down nice and tight. Rear cover has lost some of the plating, see photo, with the case having a serial number of 3123030.


Bow Assembly : in good condition with the bow being secure.


Crystal : is of glass, clear and free from surface scratches being a replacement.


Dial : is in very good condition and is free from hairline cracks or chipping to the dial edges. Dial is white with black Roman numerals and sub second dial present. All hands are present and are in excellent condition with all hands being blue steel in colour. under the 12:00 position seen Kats "Screwback" Lever.


Movement : 3/4 split plate 10 jewelled Thommen movement running the full length of the wind, and keeping good time, +/- 2 minutes a day or better. The watch has been fully serviced with the balance having a good working action in all positions. The gilding remains in good condition and is free from any corrosion and scratches. Watch is crown set and wound.
