This is a very ornate six-sided jewelry casket with intricate gold plated filigree.  All of the glass pieces are beveled.  The 

feet are tallish with balls at the end. One foot has apparently broken off and has been soldered back on see last photo.  I do not think they put it on evenly beneath the glass but it sets evenly on a table.  Has original velvet surface at the bottom which is somewhat faded and worn.  Possibly French, do not know.  

Measures about 6.5 inches by 3.5 inches tall
