This is a vintage doll made by Ideal Toy Corp. in 1947
"Sparkle Plenty"
"The World's Most Famous Baby"
A character from the Dick Tracy comic strip, this is the baby of B.O. Plenty and Gravel Gertie
This is a 15" doll with composition head, latex rubber body, blue sleep eyes and yellow yarn hair
She comes dressed as shown in her original flannel robe, with Munsingwear advertising t-shirt (most likely a salesman's sample from Canton, SD), diaper, and pink knit booties, with her little blankie in tow
The doll is in good, gently used condition with some darkening to her latex body but no splits, tears or hardening; her head has a small crack at the side, as shown in photo #5
