For auction is a vintage original USA manufactured Schrade Old Timer 15OT “Deerslayer” fixed blade hunting skinning knife and leather sheath. Measurements are pictured for reference. It shows average minor to moderate signs of use, age and wear including blade discoloration, scratches and or scuffs. It mainly just has a few scratches close to the tip likely from being honed a few times over the years. The carbon steel blade is very nice with no rust that I see and definitely no pitting. The blade has a dull matte gray looking finish. The edge is very nice with no bad places or gouging other than a couple of small hone marks. It’s currently reasonably sharp. The sawcut Delrin grips are tight and crack free. The sheath leather is still pliable and the snap works properly. I’m not sure if this is the factory sheath or not but it’s made with rivots and is very strong and durable. The knife fits good and they pair nicely either way. This knife was used a few times over the years but not much, it’s definitely been well cared for over the years. Overall very good older USA Schrade!
