This is a model that appeared in 2018. This model is currently out of production.
It has an impressive heathered grain on the bocote top.
The body is bocote top and American basswood back.
Neck and fingerboard are roasted maple 1P neck.
Approximately 648mm scale, 24 frets, bolt-on joint specification.
The neck shape is Ibanez traditional AZ Oval C.
Although it is rounded, the top is flat to accommodate Ibanez's technical play.
The satin finish makes it easy to move the neck and has a smooth texture.
It has specifications suitable for modern playing, such as GOTOH magnum lock pegs and stainless steel frets.
The pickup is Seymour Duncan Hyperion exclusively for AZ.
The pickup specifications and sound image that are considered optimal for AZ were determined, and the pickup was created in collaboration with Seymour Duncan.The output is slightly suppressed to maintain the cleanliness of the original sound even when distorted, and the picking followability is improved. This is a custom pickup with a focus on reproducibility.
Controls: 1 volume, 1 tone
Equipped with an Alter switch that allows you to switch to Power Tap mode, which provides a realistic single coil sound with a 5-way select switch specification.
A wide range of performances are possible.
The condition is that the neck is flat.
There are minor scratches and dullness of parts due to use.
The string height is 12F, 6th string approximately 1.8mm, 1st string approximately 1.6mm.
The truss rod has plenty of room in both tightening and loosening directions.
The frets are about 80% thick and there are no parts that are low.
There is no chatter, no sound jamming, etc.
