TOSHIBA DVD PLAYER RECORDER WITH FREEVIEW

MODEL NUMBER D-R18DT-K-TB

Comes with power lead with 3 pin UK plug.

In good cosmetic condition and, until I decided to give it a dust and a vacuum very lightly inside and out, it was in very good working order.

I had been using the machine for a while and it was been working fine. As it was quite dusty I gave it a good wipe and a vacuum? so now it has decided to only switch on some times and other times not. When it does switch on, it only seems to stay on for a short while then it just shuts down. Might be an easy fix for this expensive machine.

Please see pictures to confirm physical condition and a couple information displays when working. The last picture in the series was taken before the machine was given a wipe clean. If you would like more pictures or of something specific then please ask.

Prior to its current issue, the following were tested and working:

Basic recording to DVD,
Timer recording,
Viewing TV through the built in Digital Freeview and EPG TV guide.
Play back of DVDs through SCART or HDMI.
Connectivity front and back as per the pictures.

All testing was carried out using a remote control from another machine but this is not included with the sale of this unit. Readily available through ebay etc.

A copy of an Owners Manual for a higher spec model is available on the internet eg
https://manualzz.com/doc/3545861/toshiba-dvr18-user-s-manual - sorry but at 96 pages it's just too much for me to print out, plus the postage weight.
Please bear in mind these are just my opinions/observations, so please look carefully at the pictures which form part of the condition description and show them better than words. If you would like more pictures of something specific I will be more than happy to provide these so please ask before buying.

Sorry no returns.

Happy for you to collect and so you can look at it, then if you don’t like it then don’t buy it.

Normal posting days

Please note that my normal posting days are Mondays, Tuesdays and sometimes Wednesdays. Other days may be possible on request but it depends on my other commitments and I also try to avoid parcels sitting over the weekend in courier hubs/garages etc. Where possible I try to use the Royal Mail or UPS courier service but I reserve the right to select a service at the time of sale according the service provided, price, etc and the constant changes being made by the various service providers. Thank you.

Thanks for looking and good luck
